Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to manage the accounts payable process, verifying vendor invoices with supporting documents (PO and DO). They will execute all accounting transactions of assigned vessels, including invoices, expenses, payments, payroll, and updates to accounting ledgers. This role assists in monitoring vessel financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting rules and legislation.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for processing approved payments for related vessels, supporting the smooth operation of vessels. They will also reconcile supplier statements of account and resolve discrepancies by liaising with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Maintaining and organizing records of all transactions ensures easy access and retrieval for auditing purposes.
