We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Senior Project Engineer and Construction Manager with daily site activities, monitoring and reporting site progress, and developing procedures for construction activities.
- Assist Senior Project Engineer and Construction Manager with daily site activities.
- Monitor and report site progress (including direct employees and subcontractors).
- Develop procedures for construction activities.
- Plan works and develop look-ahead programmes.
- Liaise with the design team to resolve technical discrepancies, including preparing technical queries and meeting with design consultants.
- Manage shop drawing schedules and oversee drafters' output.
- Plan equipment and material requirements; raise purchase requisitions as needed.
- Mentor and manage Site Engineers in your zone/area.
- A recognized relevant Degree and 3-5 years of experience in marine construction (e.g., pier, wharf, jetty, bridge).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
- Willingness to work a 6-day week starting at 7 am.
