Geriatric Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our team at SingHealth Group. As a Geriatric Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with cognitive and geriatric mental health issues.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cognitive and geriatric mental health issues, including dementia, mild cognitive impairment, geriatric mood and anxiety disorders, and delirium.
• Provide acute psychiatric care and manage inpatient ward duties.
• Supervise junior doctors and work collaboratively with allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary geriatric psychiatry service.
• Contribute to research and academic activities, including teaching and mentoring junior staff.

• Basic medical degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications recognized by the Singapore Medical Council.
• Completed specialty training and eligibility for accreditation as a Psychiatry Specialist in Singapore.
• At least 2 to 3 years post-specialist registration experience as a Geriatric Psychiatrist in providing clinical care for patients with cognitive and geriatric mental health issues.
