Electrical Design Professional

We are seeking an Electrical Design Professional to design and implement electrical systems for our clients.

  • The ideal candidate will determine cable sizing and design routing for sub-main cabling and conduit/trunking wiring.
  • Select suitable cable, circuit breaker, transformers, UPS, VFD, and generator components.
  • Supervise electrical installations, testing, and commissioning to ensure high-quality results.
  • Prepare project documents, including technical proposals, load lists, cable schedules, and switch-room layouts.
  • Conduct fault and short-circuit studies, as well as harmonic analyses.
  • Purchase specifications and datasheets for RFQs and review vendor offers for compliance with technical specifications and codes.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for project submission and plant start-up, performance testing, and optimization.
  • Perform cable sizing calculations and voltage drop calculations.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in process plants or the water/wastewater industry, with a good understanding of electrical design for water and/or wastewater treatment plants.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Navisworks is necessary.
