We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Purchasing Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and equipment from local and overseas suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase requisitions accurately and on time
  • Monitor and follow up on order confirmations, production progress, shipment schedules, and documentation to ensure timely delivery
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments to ensure smooth coordination of goods receipt, inventory control, and supplier payment processing
  • Support supplier selection and onboarding, including price and contract negotiations, while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
  • Track and manage inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or overstock situations, aligning with project needs
  • Maintain up-to-date procurement records, including POs, supplier contracts, cost sheets, and shipment statuses
  • Prepare and issue tax invoices, quotations, and purchasing documents as required
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply delays, quality issues, or non-conformance from suppliers
  • Monitor and report on procurement KPIs, such as cost variances, supplier performance, and delivery timelines

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or planning roles
  • Proficient in sourcing, supplier coordination, and procurement documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
