Instrumentation & Process Control Specialist

Job Description:

The Instrumentation & Process Control Specialist will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of various analyzer systems, instrumentation, and control systems.

They will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution, supervise and lead installation and commissioning, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform electrical and pressure tests, factory acceptance tests, and site acceptance tests.

Additionally, they will carry out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of analytics systems services, ensure all installations and commissioning meet customer specifications and industry standards, and provide ad-hoc engineering support to customers as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Environmental, Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Preferably 3-5 years of working experience or more in the analytical instruments or related field
  • Knowledge of analyzers, instrumentation advantageous
  • Able to work independently and write effective reports
  • Good work experience with Hart communicator, calibration, and PLC/SCADA advantageous
  • Good planning and time management skills to achieve job efficiency
  • Customer-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment, providing input and feedback in a helpful manner
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently
