Job Description

As an aircraft coating specialist, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to commercial aircraft and component parts. Your expertise in HVLP guns and paint pots will ensure a smooth and efficient painting process.

You will prepare metal/composite surfaces by filling, sanding, cleaning, and masking parts. You will mix and thin paint and coatings as required, and apply primer and final paint or coating using a spray gun application.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares aircraft and component parts for painting
  • Applies coatings and paints using HVLP guns and other equipment
  • Cleans and maintains equipment and work area
  • Collaborates with team members to achieve project goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an industrial/automotive finish spray painter
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Class 4 driving license
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, painting, housekeeping, inventory, and 5S
