Airport Security Officer Job

This role is responsible for maintaining a high level of security awareness by performing CCTV and Control Room monitoring duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform screening of baggage and personnel to prevent potential threats from entering the airport.
  • Conduct X-ray screening and access controls to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to restricted areas.
  • Perform guarding and patrolling of installations to deter any potential security breaches.

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess a valid PLRD license or be willing to obtain one. Normal color vision is also essential due to the nature of the work. You must be able to work rotating shifts including overnight hours.
