Job Description

This role involves working as part of a team to design and develop new systems that meet user requirements. The engineer will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing and developing new systems, and working with other teams to assess requirement feasibilities and propose solutions.

  • Gather and translate user requirements into practical design objectives or specifications.
  • Design and develop new systems to support user requirements.
  • Work with software, hardware, and mechanical teams to assess requirement feasibilities, propose alternatives, and present the solution to users.
  • Liaise with users, software, hardware, and mechanical teams to define design specifications and provide application support.
  • Review software, hardware, and mechanical design architecture and technical documents for peripheral sub-systems.
  • Generate and maintain project documents including requirements, test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Perform system integration and testing.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance in the integration of hardware and software developed by various team members, allowing the development of solutions at the system level.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics Engineering, with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual skills. They must also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently, and be a team player. Experience in large-scale systems, payload integration onto UAV systems, and system integration is highly desirable.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Team player.
  • Experience in large-scale systems.
