Aircraft Maintenance Assistant Role: Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning duties inside and outside aircraft during maintenance operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized environment in the hangar area.
  • Assist with moving ground support equipment (GSE) to optimize maintenance processes.
  • Conduct minor paint touch-ups using brushes for aesthetic improvements.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Support the maintenance team with general tasks as needed.

Requirements:
  • Minimum qualifications include ITE holder, GCE 'O' Level, or equivalent qualification in Aerospace Engineering.
  • Scissor and Boom Lift certification is preferred for this role.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience are required for consideration.
  • Familiarity with Base Maintenance activities is advantageous.
  • The ability to work in physically demanding environments is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety are necessary.
