Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Solutions Strategist to join our team at NIKKO ASSET MANAGEMENT ASIA LIMITED.

About the Role

This is a key position within our business, responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to promote our investment solutions. You will work closely with the Head of Intermediary Business Distribution and other members of the IBD team to drive growth in AUM sales and provide broad-based team support in the distribution of Nikko AM suite of fund solutions.

Your primary objective will be to increase profile and penetration of Nikko AM's fund solutions in targeted client bases, deliver on AUM and revenue targets, and develop a clear understanding of our solution set to provide credible explanations to intermediary clients.

You will be responsible for providing client-focused content and presentations, supporting key target market segments, and prioritizing efforts to focus on highest opportunities aligned with business development priorities.

In addition, you will work with wider Nikko AM teams to maximize success, coordinate resources to ensure effectiveness, and represent Nikko AM for broader client engagement needs such as conferences, seminars, and roadshows.

You will also manage collateral and client databases, remain informed on industry and regulatory issues, and stay up-to-date on strategy, research, and product efforts within the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote investment solutions.
  • Drive growth in AUM sales and provide broad-based team support in the distribution of Nikko AM suite of fund solutions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in asset management, financial advisor business models, or private banking channels.
  • Proven expertise in selling complex investment products to intermediary clients and managing client relationships.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with fluency in Mandarin highly preferred.
  • Strong intellect, high integrity, high quality standards, and a strong control environment awareness.
  • The ability to present well to all levels of audiences.
  • Self-reliance, resourcefulness, and proactivity, combined with a team player mindset.
  • High motivation and a commitment to excellence.
  • A BA/BS degree in a related field (economics, finance, accounting).

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
