Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Academic team as a Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of teaching programs, assessing student performance, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression in the curriculum.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are considering a career in education and teaching. You will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in the private education sector, work closely with students, and contribute to their academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incorporate relevant thinking and reflective skills into the curriculum
  • Assess, record, and report on the work of students, and attend Parents' Meetings to meet parents and discuss the progress of individual students
  • Teach assigned classes, including supervision of classes for absence cover
  • Work with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression in the curriculum
  • Prepare students for and participate in the conduct of internal and external examinations

Requirements:

  • A background in O & A Level Science & Chemistry is preferred but not essential
  • A strong passion for teaching and learning, with the ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and parents
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices in education
