Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Structural Component Technician to join our team at Goodrich Aerostuctures Service Center - Asia Pte. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspection, mechanical repair, and assembly work on aircraft structural components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection and Documentation: Inspect and document defects accurately in Inspection Repair Records (IRR)
  • Mechanical Repair: Perform mechanical repair work on aircraft structural components
  • Part Forming and Replacement: Form and replace parts as required
  • Assembly and Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble aircraft structural components
  • Final Inspection: Inspect completed repair tasks to ensure they are serviceable and ready for release to service
  • Independent Work: Work independently on at least 3 skills sets
  • Product Knowledge: Have good product knowledge of at least 1 major program
  • Setup and Alignment: Setup Alignment Jig / ASMJ for repair work
  • Job Management: Handle more than one job at a time and schedule repair processes to meet job delivery
  • Troubleshooting: Perform basic troubleshooting in assembly work
  • Clearance and SOP: Clear work packages upon job completion and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Discipline and Safety: Ensure good discipline, housekeeping, and shop floor safety, as well as a harmonious and safe environment for technicians
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
  • Experience: Preferably with 1 to 3 years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of nacelle components
  • Skills: Understanding of blueprints, repair instructions, and sketches, as well as possession of CAAS A12, B11, and L11/L12 papers
  • Personal Qualities: Able to work independently and meet deadlines, a team player with a positive working attitude and keen interest to learn
