Project Manager - Cost Control Specialist

This role focuses on effectively managing project costs to ensure they align with the objectives and deliverables. As a Project Manager - Cost Control Specialist, you will be responsible for allocating work to contractors and subcontractors, communicating adjustments to cost estimates, conducting negotiations, controlling project scope, developing cost reduction strategies, monitoring costs, overseeing compliance, preparing tender documents, analyzing project costs, and providing advice on contractual claims.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quantity surveying or a related field
  • Degree or Diploma holder
Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors to facilitate a smooth workflow process
  • Communicate with management, contractors, and subcontractors on adjustments to cost estimates
  • Conduct negotiations during the project to resolve issues
  • Control project scope to meet project objectives and enhance project deliverables
  • Develop cost reduction strategies to enhance the overall value of the project
  • Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with building contract law
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with standards
  • Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance with regulations
  • Prepare cost analysis for the project to enhance overall value
  • Provide advice on contractual claims
