Retail Sales Associate Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused individual who can represent our brand at our flagship retail store in Singapore's CBD.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand, guiding athletes, runners, cyclists, triathletes and fitness enthusiasts to gear up and fuel their passion. You'll be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, delivering an outstanding in-store experience.

You will also be required to understand and communicate product features, technologies, and benefits to customers. This includes knowledge of Purpose's Hypermesh and its focus on heat and humidity as well as hydration, nutrition and recovery.

In addition, you will handle sales transactions and maintain accurate POS records. You will meet weekly and monthly sales targets and maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure store cleanliness.

You will support stock management, including receiving and tagging inventory. You will also provide feedback to the team on customer needs and product trends.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales (sports/activewear preferred). A passion for sports, fitness, or the endurance community is essential.

You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a positive attitude, reliability, and self-motivation. You will be comfortable using point-of-sale systems and handling cash/card transactions.

Able to work independently and as part of a small team, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
