Safety Data Professional Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Safety Data Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Global Patient Safety Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring pharmacovigilance compliance both regionally and globally.

Your primary responsibilities will include processing adverse event reports in line with global pharmacovigilance regulations and internal procedures. This will involve reviewing and validating case information, including event terms, seriousness, and timelines.

You will also be responsible for drafting, editing, and finalizing clear, accurate case narratives, as well as initiating and managing follow-up activities to ensure data completeness.

Quality control checks will be a critical part of your role, ensuring compliance and consistency at all times. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, or Nursing.
  • A basic understanding of pharmacovigilance and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Prior experience with adverse event reporting and safety databases is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with IT systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Self-driven, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
