Job Title: Data Centre Mechanical Supervisor

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Centre Mechanical Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of critical mechanical systems within our data centres.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all mechanical systems, including chillers, chilled water distribution and storage systems, cooling towers, and chemical dosing systems.
  • Ensure that all mechanical systems are running at optimal levels, minimizing downtime and improving overall system performance.
  • Work closely with other teams, including facilities, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient problem-solving.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall system reliability.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and develop corrective actions to prevent equipment failure or system downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a data centre environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including chillers, pumps, and piping systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate with experience using software applications such as MS Office, AutoCAD, and BIM.
