**Medical Writer Position**


Cactus Life Sciences is a remote-first organization, fostering an accelerated work culture.

Primarily working remotely, occasional travel to the office may be required for business needs or team events.

As a senior medical writer, you will engage in challenging and rewarding work that combines medical science with proficient writing skills.

This role allows you to take ownership of high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials, tailored to client and audience requirements with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Writing, reviewing, proofreading, and data-checking various materials such as slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and infographics.
  • Mentor and train scientific writers, review materials for strategic alignment and scientific accuracy, build strong relationships with pharmaceutical clients and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with client directors, contribute to developing and executing effective medical communications initiatives in the digital space.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring all materials comply with client requirements, internal SOPs, and industry standards, while staying updated with developments across therapeutic areas.

To qualify for this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience in scientific writing, along with a relevant educational background such as a PhD/MD in Pharmacology, PhD in Life Sciences, PharmD, or MSc.

You should possess excellent writing skills, adaptability to different audiences, and a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
