Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers across various platforms.

About the Role
  • This role involves developing relevant technical checklists and work instructions, ensuring that they are up-to-date and align with industry standards.
  • You will also serve as the technical liaison between suppliers and team members, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Providing technical and engineering assistance to sales staff is another critical aspect of this role, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The successful candidate may be assigned to secure or maintain contracted service sales in the area of provision of preventive and corrective maintenance contract with customers.
  • Interface with relevant stakeholders to facilitate service requests fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine field maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and/or systems as assigned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment and/or systems.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and materials.
Requirements
  • A Diploma in Biomedical Engineering / Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronic is minimally required.
  • At least 2 years hands-on working experience in field service support or equivalent technical experience is necessary.
  • Good technical and analytical trouble shooting skills in equipment and systems are essential.
  • An independent, self-sufficient, and customer-oriented individual with proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Basic knowledge in IT networking or electrical engineering is preferred.
