This position is an excellent opportunity to support delivery drivers in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
Main Responsibilities:
- Loading goods onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securement of items.
- Unloading goods from the vehicle upon arrival at the delivery location and transferring them to the designated area.
- Handling items with care to prevent damage during transport and delivery.
- Accompanying the delivery driver on delivery routes and providing assistance as needed.
- Navigating and providing directions to the delivery driver to optimize route efficiency.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is essential for this role.
- A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service capacity is highly desirable.
