We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Shipbroker Intern at Royal Ocean Marine.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in the exciting world of shipbroking. As a Shipbroker Intern, you will be working closely with our experienced brokers to identify potential business opportunities, assist with negotiations, and support the maintenance of client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities
  • Support brokers in the negotiation and execution of charter contracts
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain client relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for brokers and clients
  • Stay updated on market trends and industry developments
  • Assist with administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Maritime Studies, ICS, Business, or a related field
  • Passionate about the maritime industry and eager to learn about shipbroking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
