Lead Electrical Engineer Position

This is a senior-level role that requires leadership and technical expertise in electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced electrical distribution systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications.

The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations. This involves developing and reviewing technical documents, such as design basis, load lists, cable schedules, and single-line diagrams.

In addition, the candidate will perform complex equipment sizing calculations for transformers, generators, cables, and other electrical components. They will utilize system studies software to model electrical systems and conduct load flow, short circuit, and protection relay setting studies.

The candidate will oversee project teams and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, and 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems and distribution. The candidate should have proven expertise in designing low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.

They should also be proficient in using system studies software such as ETAP, SKM, or Amtech, and have strong knowledge of industry standards, including IEEE, NEC, and IEC. Experience with CAD software for electrical design and drafting is also required.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong leadership abilities and project management experience are essential. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, are also necessary.
