Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Project Managers and Construction Teams

Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to provide guidance on compliance with health, safety, environment (HSE), and security matters at the worksite.

Coordinate and Assist RC Works Contractors

Coordinate and assist RC works contractors to eliminate security, safety, health, and environmental hazards at the worksite.

Ensure Compliance with Legal and Statutory Regulations

Ensure compliance with legal and statutory health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Coordinate with Clients and Main Contractors

Coordinate with clients and main contractors' representatives to ensure compliance with their in-house rules and regulations to meet their expectations.

Liaise with Relevant Authorities

Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB, and other relevant authorities on WSH-related matters (where applicable).

Assume Safety Assessor Role

Assume the role of safety assessor in the Permit-to-work (PTW) system.

Prepare and Follow up on HSE Documentations

Prepare and follow up on the submission of HSE documentations, including risk assessments, safe work procedures, and other relevant documents.

Review and Improve HSE Documentations

Review the risk assessment, safe work procedures, and other relevant documents according to compliance with statutory and clients' requirements to further improvement.

Conduct Regular Toolbox Meetings

Conduct regular toolbox meetings with emphasis on HSE aspects.

Organize Safety Campaigns and Training

Organize safety campaigns and training based on safe work procedures and risk assessments to enhance greater EHS culture.

Investigate and Report Accidents/Incidents

Assist in the investigating and reporting of accidents/incidents and recommend preventive and corrective measures.

Conduct Regular HSE Inspections

Conduct regular HSE inspections and ensure remedial actions are taken to rectify any unsafe acts and conditions.

Lead Emergency Situations

Lead and assist to manage emergency situations with project team where applicable.

Regularly Inspect Equipment and Machinery

Regularly inspect equipment, machinery, and assets to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.

Maintain HSE Documents and Records

Maintain all HSE documents and records on-site and submit to corporate HSE Department.

Requirements
  • Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health

Hold an advanced certificate in workplace safety and health.

Experience in Similar Capacity

Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar capacity in the construction industry, preferably with RC work experience.

Proficient in MS Office Applications

Be proficient in MS Office applications.

Driving Licence (Advantageous)

Possession of a driving licence is an advantage.
