Job Title: Network Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to design and implement cutting-edge network infrastructure solutions that drive business success.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization's technology landscape.

  • Designing and optimizing network infrastructure to support high-speed trading applications and services
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex network infrastructure problems to ensure maximum availability and performance
  • Providing day-to-day support for both network and application environments, monitoring connectivity and responding to alerts or incidents as needed
  • Evaluating emerging networking technologies and service providers to keep our trading infrastructure cutting-edge and cost-effective

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco Catalyst (IOS) and Nexus (NX-OS) switches, including configuration and management. Additionally, they should have proven ability to configure and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewall platforms, as well as a strong understanding of Layer 2 switching protocols such as VLANs, Spanning Tree (STP), and Link Aggregation (LACP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design: Designing and implementing robust network infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving complex network infrastructure issues to ensure high uptime and performance
  • Support: Providing expert-level support for network and application environments, including monitoring and incident response
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluating emerging networking technologies and service providers to inform strategic decisions

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise deploying large-scale, high-performance computing (HPC) network infrastructure using RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCEv2)
  • Hands-on experience with cutting-edge network technologies such as dark fiber (DWDM) optical networks, advanced QoS implementation, and multicast routing
  • Cisco CCNP/CCIE or comparable certifications in routing/switching are a plus
