Weekend Literacy Educator Role Summary:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Weekend Literacy Educator.

Job Description:

As a Weekend Literacy Educator, you will be responsible for delivering a structured reading and writing program to children aged 4–7. You will conduct 2-hour literacy classes, use storytelling, drama, and creative techniques to bring lessons to life, track student progress, and share feedback with parents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Diploma in Early Childhood, Educational Studies, or Speech & Drama, at least 1 year of classroom teaching experience with children aged 3–7, strong English and engaging storytelling delivery, and the ability to commit to every Saturday and Sunday morning.

This is a bonded, fixed-schedule weekend role, which means you will have a guaranteed income and stability. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in early years education and gain valuable experience working with children.

Others:

All shortlisted candidates will undergo HQ-led training (fully sponsored but unpaid). You must complete the following: 2 pre-entry assessments, training modules on literacy curriculum and educator methodology, and post-certification commitment including weekly attendance and completing 80 weekend lessons within 12 months.
