Investment Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst to join our team. As an Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth single-stock analysis and stock selection, focusing on the U.S. and Hong Kong equity markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on potential investment opportunities across various asset classes, including stocks, fixed income, funds, private equity, and alternative investments in the U.S. and Hong Kong markets.
  • Analyze industry fundamentals using big data tools to identify promising sectors for investment, emphasizing market trends in the U.S. and Hong Kong.
  • Develop financial models and leverage big data tools for thorough industry analysis.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentation materials to communicate findings to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience as a buy-side research analyst.
  • Experience with U.S. and Hong Kong markets is highly desirable.
  • Experience with public equity is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel VBA, MS Power BI, Python, or similar for reporting and data analysis.
