We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Sector Transformation Expert to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the ever-evolving financial sector. About the Role

As a Senior FPSL Consultant at SAP Fioneer, you will collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry on an incredibly ambitious project to drive transformation in the financial sector. Your key responsibilities will include strong solution background/hands-on experience with SAP FSI Analytical solutions like S/4HANA for Financial Products Subledger (FPSL), requirements gathering and management, design of functional and technical concepts in the area of financial (subledger-) accounting with experience in banking/insurance regulations, data modelling, data integration, training and knowledge transfer, and demonstrated ability to work well in teams, with positive interactions with colleagues and customers while solving complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong solution background/hands-on experience with SAP FSI Analytical solutions like S/4HANA for Financial Products Subledger (FPSL).
  • Requirements gathering and management.
  • Design of functional and technical concepts in the area of financial (subledger-) accounting with experience in banking/insurance regulations.
  • Data Modelling.
  • Data Integration.
  • Training and knowledge transfer.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in teams, with positive interactions with colleagues and customers while solving complex problems.

FPSL Functional Skills

  • Data Load Layer.
  • FPSL Data Model.
  • Result Data Layer.
  • FPSL Derivation Framework.
  • Primary Data Sources.
  • S/4 GL Integration.

FPSL Technical Skills

  • ABAP Development Expert with deep knowledge in Object Oriented ABAP, FPSL CVPM processes, derivations, performance analysis, Level 3 root cause analysis of FPSL standard & custom code, profound Knowledge of the HANA Database, expert in SQL and raising OSS incidents and searching of relevant SAP notes in SAP portal.

Requirements

  • Min 7+ years working as a Technical FPSL Consultant with a large component expertise in FPSL, ABAP developer skills, and a good functional expertise.
  • University degree in Technology, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Accounting, or relevant areas of studies.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
  • Customer-centric mentality, willing to go the extra mile for the customer, and break down all barriers to ensure customer success.
  • An enthusiasm to learn, willingness to adapt to change, and always look for ways to fully leverage your abilities no matter the task at hand.
  • The adaptability to succeed in agile, cross-functional teams, with excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
