Banknote Operations Cashier Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Banknote Operations Cashier Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing piece counting of cash, assisting in bulk checking for incoming shipment, and preparing stock lists with details breakdown for front office's sale/repatriation.

The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical and attention-to-detail skills, as well as basic PC skills. This is an entry-level position that requires a min. diploma/degree certification and cash handling/counting experience or logistics handling experience.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for ensuring physical stock is correct and balanced with manual stock list, checking and confirming manual stock list is balanced against the system day-end stock report, housekeeping daily stock list records for future audit or any required checking by management, raising discrepancy reports if any, and submitting counterfeits to CAD (Commercial Affairs Department).

Machine maintenance and service record-keeping, opening and closing of vault, arming of the cash processing and vault premises, and assisting in indenting inventory are also part of the job responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Min. Diploma/ Degree certification
  • Cash handling/counting experience (junior role) or/and logistics handling experience
  • Numerical, attentive to details and basic PC skills
