The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care. As an entry-level veterinary nurse, you will assist emergency veterinarians with the care and treatment of hospitalized animals, closely monitor critical animals, and perform radiographic imaging to aid diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and facilitate the admission process for new pets/animals.
- Provide support for anaesthesia monitoring and recovery during emergency situations.
- Assist with the care and treatment of hospitalized animals, including overseeing and monitoring critical animals closely.
- Perform radiographic imaging to assist diagnosis and treatment.
- Safely restrain animals during exams and treatments.
- Prepare patients for surgeries and manage post-operative care, including bandaging and recovery.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients regarding treatment and care.
- Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
