Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Secure Web Gateway (SWG) engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee large-scale deployment and migration projects involving Skyhigh Virtual SWG Appliances.

Responsibilities:
  • Define project charters, scopes, timelines, and risks in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Gather and validate infrastructure requirements for SWG deployment.
  • Develop technical architecture and implementation plans for smooth project execution.

Key Deployment Tasks:
  • Deploy and configure Skyhigh SWG Virtual Appliances in customer environments.
  • Configure system parameters including management IP, DNS, hostnames, and access credentials.
  • Import licenses, update databases, apply hotfixes, patches, and register appliances.
  • Integrate with supporting infrastructure such as AD, authentication, logging services, and existing proxy management and CSR logging servers.
  • Migrate PAC files, synchronize policies and configurations, and validate system connectivity, log flow, and access redirection.
  • Monitor web traffic, system utilization, and perform health checks.

Testing and Verification:
  • Create User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases to ensure expected behavior.
  • Lead UAT sessions with pilot users and validate results.
  • Apply security hardening configurations according to best practices.
  • Support post-vulnerability remediation assessments if required.

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:
  • Update and deliver project documentation including architecture designs, migration plans, hardening guides, standard operating procedures, build guides, and UAT results.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with customer teams.

Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Information Security, Network Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Skyhigh SWG or similar Secure Web Gateway platforms.
  • Solid understanding of networking, proxy infrastructure, and web access security.
  • Familiarity with PAC file management, SIEM/logging integration, and policy enforcement.
  • Effective UAT, documentation, and client communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Skyhigh Certified Engineer (if applicable)
  • CISSP / CEH / CCNP Security / CompTIA Security+
  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent
