Accountant Job Description

Job Summary

This role is designed for experienced accountants with full set experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of working experience in the construction industry and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare General Ledger journals and manage the monthly financial close process in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct cash flow forecasting to ensure sufficient cash balances for operational needs.
  • Oversee inter-company and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare audit schedules or balance sheet reconciliation to ensure items are cleared in a timely manner.
  • Develop financial forecasts.
  • Ensure seamless GST submission and reconciliation processes.
  • Support internal and external audit processes as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing any other duties assigned by the management team.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in using relevant software applications.
