Job Title: Senior Wafer Process Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Process Engineer in a high-volume, 300mm wafer manufacturing environment.

  • The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) and wafer grind processes.
  • They must be capable problem solvers, able to apply logical thinking to isolate and determine root cause.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustain and improve CMP/Wafer Bond processes to meet manufacturing demand for throughput and cycle time.
  • Drive quality improvement by identifying and eliminating scrap and yield loss mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize overall process performance.
  • Participate in and/or lead lean activity teams to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or other relevant engineering discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 15 years semiconductor CMP process engineering experience is necessary.
  • Process knowledge of CMP/wafer grind and experience with MIRRA and IPEC polishers &/or Disco grinder equipment sets is mandatory.
  • A strong background in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is required.
