Business Intelligence Insights Analyst RoleJob Description

A senior analyst will analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support trading strategies and decision-making. They will collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, create reports and visualizations, and collaborate with trading teams to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Preparation: Gathering data from various sources (e.g., market data feeds, trading platforms, internal databases), cleaning and validating it to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Applying statistical methods and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in trading data.
  • Report Creation and Visualization: Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key findings and performance indicators to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with trading teams, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Trend Analysis and Forecasting: Identifying market trends, predicting future outcomes, and contributing to the development of trading strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing ongoing analysis to optimize trading performance.
  • Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Financial Markets Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
