Air Cargo Operations Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic air cargo operations field.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Cargo Operations Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling import/export shipments efficiently, managing daily export schedules, and coordinating with clients and shipping agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipments Management: Handle import/export shipments efficiently, including documents like HAWB, MAWB, billing, and pre-alerts.
  • Shipping Documentation: Prepare accurate shipping documents: invoice, packing list, B/L, AWB, L/C, etc.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with clients, shipping agents, contractors, ports, and truckers.
  • Export Schedules: Track and manage daily export schedules.
  • Customer Records: Keep customer contact records up to date.
  • Process Improvement: Improve freight processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Customer Queries: Answer customer queries locally and abroad.
  • Financial Reporting: Finalize P/L reports on time.
  • Warehouse Operations: Manage basic warehouse operations.
  • SOP Compliance: Follow internal customer guidelines and SOPs.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with sales, especially on air freight cases.
  • Declaration Submission: Submit accurate carrier/co-loader declarations.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Support with any ad hoc duties assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Shipping Documentation: Knowledge of shipping documentation, including HAWB, MAWB, and other relevant documents.
  • Freight Forwarding: Experience in freight forwarding, including import/export shipments.
  • Inbound Freight: Understanding of inbound freight procedures and regulations.
  • Air Freight: Knowledge of air freight procedures, including customs clearance and documentation.
  • Airway Management: Ability to manage airway bills and related documents.
  • Freight Management: Experience in freight management, including shipment tracking and coordination.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, including communication and problem-solving.
