Position Overview

As a professional educator at Swee Lee Music Academy, you will represent our commitment to excellence in music education. Collaborating closely with our team, you will deliver high-quality lessons in playing musical instruments to students of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a freelance music instructor on a commission basis.
  • Design and prepare lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and examination syllabuses (e.g., Trinity College of London Rock & Pop, Rockschool).
  • Instruct students in music theory, aural skills, and practical techniques.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain current knowledge of examination requirements.
  • Manage your lesson schedule effectively and coordinate with the academy administrator to ensure accurate class and student information.
  • Communicate any feedback or concerns to the Music Academy Director and relevant staff to enhance student satisfaction.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and parents.

  • Proficiency in Google Drive applications.
  • Relevant music qualifications and teaching experience are advantageous.
