Computer Science Faculty Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and accomplished Faculty Member to join our Computer Science team. As a senior educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of computer science professionals through teaching, research, and academic advising.

About the Role

This is a full-time appointment at the Lecturer Level or higher, commensurate with your academic credentials and prior experience.

You will be responsible for teaching a combination of undergraduate and graduate-level courses in computer science, including operating systems, data structures, design and analysis of algorithms, and other related subjects.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Academic advising for undergraduate students;
  • Guiding research projects for undergraduate students;
  • Developing and implementing curriculum;
  • Contributing to institutional service and scholarly activities;
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field;
  • At least 5 years of industry or research experience in the field of study or a closely related area;
  • A strong background in one or more areas: C/C++ programming, Computer Graphics, Computer Architectures, Parallel Processing, Computer Networks, VR/AR, Computer Vision, Data Analysis, Distributed Computation, Cyber Security;
  • Work/teaching experience or exposure to game/interactive-simulation, AI, machine learning, computer vision, data science, image processing, etc.;
  • A commitment to teaching excellence and scholarship;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
