Job Title: 3D Design and Engineering Specialist

As a highly skilled 3D design and engineering specialist, you will play a key role in our organization's success by creating accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings, models, and designs using various software programs such as REVIT Architecture, AutoCAD, and other relevant applications.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and produce high-quality 2D and 3D designs, models, and drawings for various projects.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with Estimating and Proposal departments to develop BIM modeling and AutoCAD drawings for estimates and proposal submissions.
  • Establish and maintain new projects with relevant file structures and adhere to agreed-upon BIM standards and execution plans.
  • Assist in content, family, and detail library development as well as template file management.
  • Review and interpret contract documents, architectural drawings, structural drawings, and specifications to prepare engineering work.
  • Project delivery, development of discipline-specific engineering calculations, carrying out modeling duties, coordinating with teams, and ensuring full integration of modeling information with other disciplines.
  • Technical advancements in the field of BIM, e.g., maintaining current knowledge of industry practices and advances with technology and implementing them within the department.
  • Developing technical capabilities of existing staff, advising on and giving training, assisting with continued development, and responding to technical queries.
  • Ensuring consistency of approach across REVIT & BIM Output.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in similar roles (preferably in electronic integrated security systems).
  • Certification in Revit & AutoCAD applications is essential.
  • Must have knowledge of Revit modeling and Revit family creation.
  • Navisworks or similar is required.
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud knowledge and experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong written and articulate communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) to work with global team members.
  • Professional certifications in CAD or design engineering are preferred.
  • Experience in using Bluebeam Revu or similar PDF collaboration tools is preferred.
