Job Overview

The Crewing Officer role is a critical position in the seafarer recruitment and crew management process.

This individual plays a key part in ensuring seamless operations by verifying certifications, arranging medical examinations, and collaborating with crewing agencies to recruit seafarers.

Crewing Officers must be detail-oriented, able to maintain accurate records, track expiration dates for seafarers' certificates, and ensure timely completion of crew appraisal reports.

In addition, they are responsible for managing crew changes, including visa processing and flight arrangements, in collaboration with manning and port agents.

Requirements
  • A diploma in any field is required.
  • Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the maritime industry, preferably in crewing or manning roles.
  • Pleasing personality traits include strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Candidates should also be organized, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
