">We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Social Worker/Senior Counsellor. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced individual to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counselling individuals, couples, and families, with at least 5 years of experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. They will conduct counselling for clients facing challenges in their relationships, provide clinical supervision, design, deliver, and oversee programmes for the organization, and network with external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will possess excellent written and presentation skills, be able to adapt and be flexible with changes, and demonstrate a commitment to making a tangible difference in people's lives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive counselling sessions for individuals, couples, and families experiencing relationship challenges.
- Provide expert clinical supervision to programme staff, ensuring effective delivery of services.
- Design, develop, and implement programmes tailored to meet the organisation's objectives.
- Foster partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
- Deliver group work and other interventions to support families facing challenges.
- Possess the ability to manage complex cases, including crisis intervention and referrals to relevant agencies.
Requirements
- A postgraduate qualification in counselling from an accredited institution under the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).
- A minimum of 50 hours of training in Clinical Supervision.
- Registration as a counsellor/supervisor with SAC or registered social worker with SASW.
