Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aviation Finance Analyst to join our team at ST Engineering. As a key member of our Aviation Asset Management team, you will be responsible for a broad range of investment management and fund origination activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment Management
    • Support the internal approval processes for aviation leasing deals, including the review of pricing models, maintenance events forecast models, and debt financing schedules.
    • Support document preparation and completion for all investment activities, in collaboration with legal counsel and advisors.
    • Support preparation of investment committee memorandums, in collaboration with business teams, to relevant management bodies for approval of investments.
  • Treasury Management
    • Bank loan management including loan compliance management, rollovers, drawdown and repayments.
    • Support the monitoring of exposure, formulate and time appropriate actions to hedge interest rate risk exposure.
    • Support the monitoring and projection of cash flow inflows and outflows to minimize cost of funding and maximize return on cash.
    • Involvement in internal reporting and analysis, including funding and liquidity planning, hedging analysis, budget management etc.
  • Portfolio Management
    • Supporting FP&A coverage for the LOB, including: Analyzing investment outcomes and other financial performance drivers.
    • Working closely with Finance team in on-going monitoring of cashflow projections and funding requirements of the LOB and constituent business units.
  • Investor Reporting
    • Supporting ongoing investor-relations activities including preparation & finalization of board meeting materials for various investment vehicles as required.
  • Management Reporting
    • Support the regular preparation and completion of the Investment Management Dashboard for senior management.
  • Fund Origination
    • Debt Fund-Raising Support origination from the corporate lending market, secured financing markets and debt capital markets (such as asset-backed securitizations etc).
    • Support preparation of financial models or business plans to secure funding.
    • Support the execution of financing transactions, review of financing solutions/loan documentation and supporting loan administration, in collaboration with legal counsel and advisors.
  • Risk Management
    • Credit Risk Perform pro-active ongoing credit monitoring of airline lessees under prevailing credit assessment criteria.
    • Support the regular preparation and completion of the Credit Risk Dashboard for senior management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance/ Economics/ Banking/ Accountancy/ Business Administration or similar specialization.
  • Up to 4 years of relevant financial experience preferably with project finance, corporate finance, leveraged finance, or audit firm background.
  • Structured finance or investment management experience a plus.
  • Loan / ISDA documentation experience a plus.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Practiced and proven communication and presentation skills.
  • Organised, motivated and strong prioritization capabilities.
  • Strong team player with ability to demonstrate initiative, but also able to work independently; Commitment to deliver high quality work.
