Pay Band: 3 / Grade J (Hourly Paid)

Department: English Language Services

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract, 2 years

Role Purpose:

To provide continuous support to staff and clients both within and outside the classroom, contributing to the effective operation of the Young Learner Programmes.

Main Responsibilities:

Supervision

Oversee students in the center before, after, and between classes. Ensure children do not access restricted areas and maintain order on the premises. Supervise children needing to leave the classroom. Adhere to the Child Protection Policy. Guide parents and students to classes and the customer service team for trial sessions. Act as Fire Marshall and First Aider during emergencies (training provided).

Resource Management

Assist the team in preparing and maintaining educational materials. Help create displays showcasing student work. Print, cut, and laminate educational resources.

Client Interaction

Provide basic information to parents and students regarding programs and refer them to the Customer Management team.

Teaching Assistance

Collaborate with and support classroom educators. Help children acclimate to the classroom environment and routines. Manage student book lending. Guide students in completing written assignments. Encourage active participation.

Professional Development

Complete mandatory training as required by the organization.

Additional Responsibilities

Engage in ad-hoc projects as agreed upon with the academic management team. Assist during Open House events and Parent-Teacher Meetings.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

Required:

Experience working with children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Strong communication and engagement skills with colleagues and clients.

Preferred:

Experience supporting teachers at preschool and/or primary school levels. Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Requirements:

This is an hourly paid position. Good command of spoken and written English (IELTS 6). Graduates seeking part-time opportunities are encouraged to consider this role.

Locally Recruited:
