We are seeking a senior quality professional to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained across all products and processes.
This involves monitoring critical processes, developing improvements, and collaborating with functional departments to achieve customer satisfaction and resolve issues through cooperative methods.
- You will analyze, evaluate, and present information on business situations, production capabilities, remanufacturing problems, statistical trends, and proposed process changes, with a focus on product quality and reliability during production.
- Conduct internal audits on departments and business units to ensure compliance with company instructions and policies, while also assisting external auditors from various quality associations.
- Research, compile, and review company procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and review sub-contractor audits in liaison with supplier development, as well as collect and analyze quality data to identify trends related to non-conformance documents.
- Report necessary information and offer solutions to production, materials, and the company as a whole to correct specification or process problems.
- Monitor warranty procedures, including investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and follow-up to ensure continuous improvement.
- Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement activities within business units.
- Review engineering changes, technical product changes, and production build classification amendments.
- Ensure observance of all applicable safety requirements and report immediately any unsafe practices or conditions.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience in an aerospace-approved maintenance organization environment.
A strong background in root cause analysis methods, Continuous Improvement techniques, and Workplace Safety and Health regulations is highly valued. Experience in special processes such as Heat Treatment, NDT, Thermal Spray, Chemical Processing, and Welding is also preferred.
