Job Summary
">Deputy / Assistant Head, Manufacturing, Trade & ConnectivityThis is a key position in our organization responsible for overseeing and managing various programmes.
">- Develop strategic initiatives to strengthen Singapore's edge in the global manufacturing and trade value chain.
- Manage resources across sectors to optimize budget utilization.
- Maintain oversight of programme implementation and effectiveness.
We are a department under the Prime Minister's Office established to perform several functions.
">- To provide secretariat support to the Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council (RIEC).
- To coordinate research within the national framework.
- To develop policies and plans for the national R&D agenda.
- To implement national research, innovation and enterprise strategies.
The successful candidate will join a team shaping how research and innovation drive Singapore's competitiveness and deliver meaningful economic impact. You will be part of a dynamic environment where you can make a difference.
">Requirements">- A background in science or engineering will be an advantage.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in an administrative/policy-making position.
- Strong analytical abilities and a broad sense of perspective.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have strong initiative, be independent, meticulous, resourceful and able to work well under pressure.
