Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing sector at Tuas West. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of projects from inception to completion.

About the Role
The successful candidate will have experience in managing projects across various stages, including design, development, testing, and implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and perform planning work for the project.
  • Liaise with contractors/suppliers/vendors regarding project matters.
  • Confirm the quality and safety aspects of the project-related work.
  • Assist in monitoring the budget for the project section.
  • Assist in monitoring the schedules set for projects.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field is required, although a diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with 5 years of experience may also be considered. Having a LEW license is an added advantage. Additionally, you must have basic understanding of electrical systems, understand Risk Assessment and FMEA, and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Auto-CAD skills are also a plus.

Working Conditions
The working days are Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. However, work outside office hours may be required when necessary. The working location is at Tuas West Road. A competitive salary of up to SGD 5,500 is offered.
