Primary Chinese Tutor Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Chinese Tutor to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach Chinese language to Primary 1–6 students according to the latest MOE syllabus.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons focused on oral, writing, reading, and comprehension skills.
  • Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Track student progress and work closely with parents to support learning.
  • Prepare learning materials and support curriculum development when needed.
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Chinese Language, Education, or related field.
  • Strong command of spoken and written Mandarin and able to explain in English.
  • Familiar with MOE Chinese syllabus for Primary level.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
  • Patient, encouraging, and passionate about teaching.
  • Able to work on weekends.

Working Schedule:

  • 5.5 to 6 days per week (including weekends).
  • Off-days typically on weekdays (to be discussed).
  • Fixed schedule with possible adjustments based on student demand.
