Job Summary
This is a senior leadership role that will lead an asset management team in the formulation and execution of asset management strategies and plans for the assigned real estate portfolio with the objective of maximising the optimum income and highest value of the assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset management plans to achieve financial, investment, and operational goals of the assigned portfolio.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets and reports to cover financial performance of the assets, leasing status, and rental collection.
- Formulate and execute asset enhancement initiatives to increase the value of the assets.
- Maintain close communications and good relationships with property management companies and work closely with Property Manager to ensure that the asset is properly maintained, managed, and compliant with regulations.
- Build strong relationships with customers and coordinate with external parties such as government authorities, brokers, leasing agents, vendors, and consultants.
- Manage market intelligence and collate global market/industry information to ensure competitiveness of the Company's products and services.
Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or its equivalent.
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in asset management of commercial real estate (office and retail) and good knowledge of local real estate market.
- Be operationally hands-on with sound financial grounding.
- Resourceful, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
