Project Management Professional

The purpose of this role is to oversee the efficient execution of fieldwork operations critical to research projects.

This position exists to manage and support a team of field interviewers/researchers, coordinate field logistics, and maintain high standards of data quality and ethical compliance.

By overseeing all aspects of a survey project from field activities to resolving operational challenges, this role enables the collection of reliable, high-quality data that underpins impactful social research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Project Management: Ensure timely completion of project timelines and deadlines.
  • Fieldwork Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate fieldwork activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion of data collection.
  • Field Interviewer Supervision: Recruit and manage field interviewers, providing guidance and monitoring performance.
  • Field Logistics Coordination: Plan and organize fieldwork schedules, manage logistics, and address on-the-ground challenges.
  • Quality Control and Data Verification: Implement quality control measures for data collection and conduct checks on completed surveys.
  • Participant Recruitment: Work with the research team to define participant recruitment strategies and coordinate outreach.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates on fieldwork progress and contribute to project reports.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of field activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in managing or coordinating fieldwork operations in a research environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency in using technology for data collection and management.
  • Qualifications: Degree holder with experience in projects commissioned by the public sector.
