As a System Analyst, you will play a key part in analysing and defining system requirements. This involves identifying and resolving technical issues, designing, testing and implementing appropriate solutions and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand application-related challenges and assess existing procedures and workflows.
- Analyse and define system requirements by identifying and resolving technical issues; design, test, and implement appropriate solutions and standards.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for system users.
- Develop and recommend workflow solutions by evaluating and comparing alternative approaches.
- Ensure effective implementation by defining specifications and coordinating with programmers during the production phase.
- Conduct system testing to validate functionality and ensure accuracy of solutions.
- Support system operations by training end-users and providing ongoing technical assistance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to serve as a reference for system functionalities and processes.
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental and organisational goals by delivering assigned tasks and outcomes.
- Liaise with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate efficient issue resolution and ensure smooth system performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in IT system development, integration, implementation, and/or support and maintenance.
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Experience in IT or database administration is an advantage. Proficiency in GUI front-end development, SQL, or other equivalent database tools is preferred.
