Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to oversee the movement of goods and materials within our organization.

About the Role:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, as well as managing inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery to customers.

Your primary goal will be to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the receipt and storage of goods, including inspecting shipments for damage or discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Dispatch goods to customers in a timely manner, using appropriate transportation modes and tracking systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with logistics software.
  • A degree in a related field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
