Job Title: Cloud Platform Architect

About the Role:
A talented cloud platform architect is sought to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing and be able to design, implement, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable platforms.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Define and document the target state architecture for data platforms, considering scalability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or native solutions.
  • Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure services and industry best practices.
  • Lead the integration of security practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Champion and drive the adoption of DevOps principles and practices across development, operations, and security teams.

Your Skills and Qualifications:
You should have a strong background in cloud computing, with experience in provisioning and management of Azure resources, including compute, storage, networking, and databases. Additionally, you should have experience implementing cloud-based services and designing and implementing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or native solutions. You should also be familiar with Azure data platforms such as Azure Databricks and have experience in initial setup activities, including infrastructure setup such as connectivity, security policies, configuration management, DevOps for business teams or consumers.
